How many unofficial visits can you have to a school?
I'm a sophomore in HS and was wondering when I should start and how many I should/could go to.

There is no limit on unofficial visits, you can start at any point you want.
If you have a story to tell the coach and you have interest in the school, why not take your time and visit the schools and confirm your interest as well as generate interest from the schools point of view.

UpStM13, I wouldn't necessarily refer to it as an "unofficial visit" when talking to the coach. Just call or email him and say you're wanting to tour the campus and meet with him about the baseball program and ask what day(s) would be best for him. Have some questions ready to ask when you meet with him and everything should turn out great. Best wishes!
