After reading another post here it made me wonder........will/should unsigned senior's attend upcoming showcases? I guess I figured by time those roll around this summer "the game's over". No? I thought most of the kids who attended Team One and PG events in the summer, (among other showcases) were going to be '05's.
Yes? No?

My son's teammate attended a showcase last year that was prodominately juniors, but was noticed and signed by a DII school. I know the PG Sunshine Classic in June in Ft. Myers seems to have some unsigned seniors each year. Maybe PG or some of those who attended could comment on the success rate.
Also, if your son has ever attended a PG showcase, a phone call to their office might give you some feedback. They were very helpful in letting me know recently which schools within our geographical area were still looking for my son's particular position.
Any other showcases that your son has attended should also be able to give you some similar feedback. Good luck!
My son played last summer on a team with 4 or 5 graduated seniors. Many of them had no place to play for the next year, but by the end of the season all had committed to a program, two went juco, one DII in-state and made the roster this fall and one NAIA.

I don't think any went to showcases last summer, although its probably a good idea.

Geaux Cajuns!!
Midwest Prospects has a Senior Unsigned camp and this year it will be May 28-29.

Why do we have it? Many of the players in Oklahoma, Kansas and North Texas want to play JC ball and the camp gives the JC's in OK, KS and TX an opportunity to come to one place and see what's available. It also gives that player who turned up his game a notch to be seen since he may not have showed his newly found talents before a big group of college recruiters.

I have learned thru college coahes that it is never too late for them to see players who have just graduated HS.

We wil have schools from D-1 and D-2 along with NAIA in attendance as well.

Players may request a camp form on the website below.
