Unusual triple play

Was talking to a former major leaguer last night who told me he saw a triple play occur ... without a defensive player ever touching the ball.

In case you're interested in trying to figure out how this is possible, I'll give the explanation in a separate post.

Here's how it happened.

No outs, R1, R2. Runners break with the pitch. Batter hits high fly to 2B.

R2 realizes it and heads back to 2B.
R1 doesn't look up and just keeps running.

He passes R2 (so R1 is out)
Ball comes down and hits R2 (so R2 is out)
Batter is out because of infield fly rule.

This acutally happened!

Baseball -- gotta love it!
