There is a camp on 12/13-14 here in San Diego that has many of the top college programs and coaches from the West Coast attending not just to watch but to instruct and evaluate each of the players. It is called the College Baseball Exposure Camp and will give players the chance to be not only seen by but to learn from and interact directly with coaches (many of them Head Coaches) from: USC (Chad Kreuter), USD, UC Irvine (Pat Shine), Cal (David Esquer), Fresno St.,UNLV (Buddy Gouldsmith), UCSB, SDSU, Pacific (Ed Sprague), Gonzaga (Mark Machtolf), Loyola Marymount and a bunch of So Cal DII, DIII, and NAIA. It seems the best way to get additional info is through the link www.collegesportsexposurecamps.com. According to Frozen Ropes in San Diego, which is hosting part of the camp, it will be fast-paced with the players getting hundreds of repetitions with the bats and gloves during the weekend while working with the coaches, and pitchers throwing Sat. bullpens, Sun. games and getting coaching on a number of levels including arm care, conditioning, etc.
