Update

Thanks to everyone for the kind words and support.

Now an update on "the kid." He sat out yesterdays game, and I was glad. Of course he said that he could have played!

Started tonight and went 2 for 3 (singles) add in a strike out and a hit by pitch! The radio announcer went out of his way to say that the pitch was an off speed pitch that "softly" plunked him in the back. Ha

Andy said later that it was a slider that hit him in the tricep. He wants to find the scouting report that says to pitch him hard inside!

Andy said that he had never been as nervous at the plate as he was in his first at bat tonight. Duh Anyway he said the first pitch was a fastball inner half so he swung hard and got the heck out of there. Turned out okay ... single between third and short.
