A former player from my program is interested in this school. They compete in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference. Any opinions/info is welcome. Thanks in advance.

They've been D2 for a few years now. UIU was a very good program at the D3 level. Seem to be gaining traction at the D2 level. Around .500 ball. I've got some insight into staff. PM me if you need more info.
Upper Iowa is located in Fayette, Iowa. It is a small town and not much going on. It is kind of a cool town though. The baseball field is very nice and well taking care of, but it is kind of in a bad location. It is a little outside of town and is located by two large grain bins. The river also runs 20 feet from the field on the third base side making the nats and skeeters terrible for some games. They also don't have lights so they don't play any night games. The grass is perfect though. Not a single weed.
A kid from our conference went to UIU. It is a solid program, but it isn't at a level where it can compete for a conference championship or make the national scene yet. It may be in the future.
Nickname is the Peacocks and they wear pretty cool baby blue uniforms.
It is a very easy school to get in academically. Matter of fact I think it has the lowest standards of grades and test scores of any 4 year college in Iowa.

Located in a very typical, small Iowa town. Finished 30-25 last year, 29-21 the year before. Finished in 2nd place this past year in the Northern Sun Conference. Looks like they are making strides every year.
