How many here think the UiL will act as quickly to get the games going again as they were to cancel them?
LISD announces that all school will resume on Thursday, May 7th. Team/sports will not resume until Monday, May 11th from what I hear.
Yea, this whole swine flu has been completely blown out of proportion by a media that need something new to talk.
I just got back from Mexico on Monday and was at the Iberostar Grand Hotel in Playa Parasio for 5 days. Not one case within 900 miles of us. I'm actually being required to stay home from work for 72 hours before I return on Friday. Not one ounce of a sickness to report. We had over 100 people from all over the country at this wedding show up and not even one of them are sick. Only 8 people cancelled their trip.
I guess I can't complain though, all of swine flu put the games on hold and now I am able to watch my little brothers last two games as a Senior. Guess there is a blessing in all of this.
