I would like to invite all of the Midwest Travel Teams to the US Wood Bat Congress World Series, July 21st - 25th in Evansville, IN.

1. 14U - 18U Divisions
2. July 20th - Showcase "Probable Perfect Game"
3. 6 game guarantee
4. Each Team receives 2 free wood bats. Mention this web forum in your registration or email and receive 4 wood bats for your team.
5. Every player is eligible to be nominated for Pete Swanson USWBC Scholarship. This scholarship is in the amount of $1,000 and will be voted on prior to the World Series. Each Manager or Orginization gets 2 votes. All player bios will be sent to each coach that has participated in a USBC/USWBC event in the last year or will be participating in the World Series. After they receive bios, they will go email their votes. The final tabulation will be given to every coach that voted, for their review. At the World Series we will present the Scholarship. We are very excited about this scholarship for select players.
6. 18U teams will be playing for championship rings
7. Fee only $450,

We already have several state teams, 3 Canadian teams, and are negotiating with six or seven International Teams. We hope to get at least 3 International teams not including Canada.

For rules and registration go to www.usacsports.com or email your name and address and we will send a brochure.

This will be about our 6th year for the Fall tournament. It is always a good tournament. It will probably be scheduled toward the end of September, but I want to confirm with Perfect Game their exact schedule for the fall because we will want to work around theirs. Would be great to have the Wisconsin Blazers there. Look forward to seeing you on the field soon.
The USWBC Tournament DOES NOT include any age groups other than 17U and 18U. We are Cancelling the 14U - 16U. I made an oversight when scheduling and do Not want to conflict with PERFECT GAME. We are Very committed to PERFECT GAME Events and they are hosting in Bourbonnais, IL the Week of the 19th - 25th 2006 Grads/16 Under National Championships, as well as 2008 Grads and 2009 Grads. We register our teams in every Perfect Game Tournament possible, so USWBC highly recommends All teams attend The Perfect Game Nationals During July 19 - 25 for those age divisions

US...At 3:30 a.m., on Feb 7th, you posted: "...6th year for the Fall tournament. It is always a good tournament. It will probably be scheduled toward the end of September, but I want to confirm with Perfect Game their exact schedule for the fall because we will want to work around theirs."

At 3:37 a.m., on the 7th, you changed your mind because you didn't want to "conflict" with the PG event (s)...Did you actually call PG at 3:30 in the morning to check the schedule? I didn't think so.

US...But...Let me understand what you are saying...You are cancelling your 14U-16U portion of your own tournament July tournament because Perfect Game is having a similar "age-group" tournament in Bourbonnais, Illinois at the same time?

BeenthereIL, No I didn't call Perfect Game at 3:30 in the morning, you're correct. At 3:30 I was answering Blazer25's question about the Fall tournament we have each year. But I was originally trying to edit my first post regarding the July tournament. I wanted to make sure I got it on here that the July tournament is incorrectly posted, we will not be having those younger age groups because it conflicts with Perfect Game and I feel it would be ridiculous for us to try and compete with them for teams because I am sold on what Perfect Game does for us all. Originally I didn't pay attention to PG's full schedule when we decided on our dates, so when I discovered my error, I wanted to get the information on the board. Sorry for the way I edited it, I've just began using the board. I'm sure there is a better way. Thanks for the feedback.
