USA Junior Olympics

South Charlotte Panthers lost to Palm Beach PAL 7-4 and I believe Florida Pokers beat the Richmond Braves in the other game. Dont know the final result yet. My sons team --- South Charlotte Panthers-- had 3 players selected for the the trials

Thanks for the info....What happened to Team Florida? They were scheduled to play the Pokers the last I seen posted.
Was their weather issues?

For such a great run tournament USA Baseball needs to get some help with the website. It was down for most of the year and now no updates from either location. Anybody have the eventual champion from each location?

The Team Florida-Florida Pokers game was finished Saturday morning because of rain. Pokers won to get them in the final eight. I don't know the score.
My son plays for Richmond and I was kinda hoping we would get to play Team Florida again.They were the only blemish in our record at that point.We had a 3-1 lead in the 3rd when they put in a good submariner(can't remember his name) that shut us down.They turned 4 double plays in the last 5 innings.
The Pokers beat us 3-2 in our semi-final game.The winning run scored on a balk in the bottom of the 6th when our pitcher dropped the ball on the mound. We all felt bad for him as he pitched a very good game.
The skys opened up during our bronze medal game and South Charlotte and Richmond agreed to be share the bronze. The rain had taken it's toll on everyone involved for the past three days. I had mixed feelings as my son was on the mound but...
I believe there were co-champions also.
