USC Aiken will only continue to get better. Head Coach Kenny Thomas is a real baseball guy. He has righted a former sinking ship at Aiken.
Kenny is the former head coach at Volunteer State Community College in Tennessee. All he did there was win, garner #1 rankings, get them to the NJCAA World Series, etc.
I believe USCA has had winning seasons all 4 years Kenny has been in charge.
Kenny is a very good recruiter with the belief in recruiting local (area / state) kids first. He will put the best 9 on the field each game, regardless of where they are from.
Current USCA roster is a mix of South Carolina and out-of-state players.
They spent much of last season ranked in the top 25 of DII programs.
A brand new baseball stadium was just "christened". About 1,000 seats.
Coach Thomas is a "no nonsense" kind of guy. Playing for him is not for the faint of heart. But having said that his former players are fiercely loyal to him.

Great information, thank you very much. I really appreciate it. We have to start evaluating for next year since the Salkehatchie program may be ending.

The new complex is supposed to be nice. Former Pacer Roberto Hernandez contributed a pretty good chunk of change for the new park.
