USSSA 16U World Series in Orlando

My 16 year old is a 2011 and his team is schedule to play in this tournament this summer. Can anyone give any details about this venue? I'm concerned that this tournament is for sophomores and not juniors.

Well I played in the USSSA 18u in 2005 and must say the competition was very good. Well ran tournamnet and a rather large number of scouts over the week. Since then it has been teamed up with ABR (Amatuer Baseball Report) so I don't know what kind of tournament it is now. I don know they have a college/pro showcase the day before the start of the tournament. Obviously it is for 16u since its that world series. I might suggest playing for a 17u team since that is the age of the 2011 grads. But to each their own! Good luck!
