Sounds like the game yesterday versus UVA was electric. With 2 outs, 2 strikes on the VT batter in the 9th inning, he has a 9-pitch AB and hits one off the wall to bring in 3 runs.

Buddy Sosnoskie has been having a great year.

As tough as the ACC is, they have held their own, and although I am not a VT fan, I must applaud their efforts this year.

1. Because with his bat, you want him in the lineup.
2. That's where the team need is, so that's what he volunteered to do.

Shaban at first allows VT to play Tony Balisteri at third. Or so is my best guess. Shaban can play a number of positions.
