Tom Garrett posted his Colonial District Preview earlier today over on VAPreps. What are everyone's thoughts about it? It appears like he went with what the consensus is saying.

1. Godwin
2. Deep Run
3/4/5/6. Freeman/Tucker/Hermitage/PH.

BTW, I know Godwin has James River tonight. Any other Colonial Games?

I would think Hermitage's Chris Burnett would be listed more prominently as a pitcher than as an OF/1B, wouldn't he? I'm sure he'll always bat, and those will be his positions when he isn't on the mound, but I was thinking he was their # 1 guy going into the year. Though I haven't seen the Pauley kid, and Rooker may develop into a # 1.
Just returning from the Deep Run-Freeman matchup. 7-4 DR win in a good ballgame. A couple of errors hurt Freeman at key times, but a pretty good early season game. Brooks started and threw 3 innings, gave up 3 runs, 2 earned. Michael Boyle then came in and closed the door on Freeman for the rest of the game. 10 K's in 4 innings. Impressive performance. Godfrey started and threw well for Freeman and left the game down 5-4. Cold night for all the players, but typical early season game performance outside of Boyle. Quite an impressive night for Boyle, not sure where he has been hiding. Did not see many of the players mentioned in the Colonial Preview. Several other players thought to be receiving significant time for DR did not play at all. Not real clear on their plan moving forward, despite getting the win. Freeman is set up for a big bounce back game vs. Tucker Fri nite at Tucker. Should be an important game for Freeman to not start out 0-2 in District very early in the season.
