Vernon struggled some last year in their conference, but with a JUCO program it's hard to get a gauge from year to year because of the turnover. My son's team played them four times - home/away doubleheaders - and I saw all four games. They seemed to be short on pitching, but the players certainly could hit and that kept them in games.
Wish I could offer more, but that's all I saw first-hand.
