tigerfan_09,

I would go with collikar's advice. Email the coach with the link to the video on youtube. DVD's just clutter up the office space. Like Homerun04 said, nothing replaces being seen in person, but videos do have their place. The biggest thing coaches will be looking for in a video is bat speed and swing mechanics for hitting. Athleticism and fielding mechanics for infielders. If you are a pitcher they will want to see the movement on your FB and other pitches. If you play outfield don't bother putting a defensive portion on your video. It is so hard to gauge what an outfielder can do on a video. Things like arm strength, power, and running speed must be gauged in person.
I am a big proponent of the youtube method.

We were a bit late to the game doing this, but my 2008 grad had at least 12 coaches watch his video online. 2 of those coaches decided to come watch him play live, and one of them was the school where he signed to play! Agree 100% about the swing mechanics comment.

Not only does this method cut down on office clutter for the coach, but decreases your production/mailing costs as well.
We had google host my sons pitching video and then linked it to my sons website where it had all relevant stats, data and contact info.

They could go to the website and watch the video right there and then look over all the stuff. Every coach that went there really liked how it was laid out. The video was 123 seconds.
