When we first did my son's video, there was no music. It really stood out, and not in a good way. Maybe its because I have a background in music (play guitar and piano) and was a DJ for years, but it just didn't seem right. 2 minutes of action with no sound just seemed weird. So I put in a nice instrumental (a cover version of "The Letter" by a guy named Bill Hullet). Maybe I'm alone, but I really thought it added a nice touch.
well, when it was muted, it was just tough to watch. if I had the volume on, it would've just been wind noise. the music is very low, truly background. I thought it was a nice touch without being over the top in any way.

if the music makes a bigger impression on a coach than my kid's swing or defensive skills, then it may not be an issue anyway!!
