One thing we were really proud of from our first year with the Cardinals (2010 season) was that all 9 of our 2011's got placed into collegiate baseball -- 4 in D-1, 2 in D-3, 1 in NAIA and 2 in JuCo.
With 13 players in our program from the class of 2012, we bit off a bit more, but once again we're happy to say that all 13 will move on to college baseball:
Bridgeman, Daniel, Dinwiddie RHP, to Radford
Byrd, Daniel, Cosby RHP, to Randolph-Macon
Carrico, Tyler, James River RHP, to UVA
Ellis, Nykolai, Grassfield C, to Radford
Johnsonbaugh, Shane, Western Branch OF, to Radford
Kirby, Nathan, James River LHP, to UVA
Konvicka, Colton, Benedictine OF, to Longwood
Lawless, Collin, James River C, to Longwood
Lee, Brian, Cape Henry MIF, to William & Mary
Manion, Joe, Powhatan LHP, to University of Massachusetts-Amherst (UMass)
Phillips, Tanner, Powhatan RHP, to Randolph-Macon
Scheetz, Kit, James River LHP, to Va. Tech
Tovsky, Aaron, T.C. Williams 3B, to Davidson
Congratulations to all these young men. Coach Graham and I enjoyed the ride and look forward to following you in the years ahead!
