When mid-March gets here, I would like to see us start posting news of games, etc., on a district-by-district basis, or at least region-by-region, for each classification level (A, AA, AAA).
I'll volunteer to post news from the Dominion District all season long. I might be able to get some news from other Central Region (AAA) games, but I know we have at least one person who posts here from the Central and at least one from the Colonial, so I'd rather defer to those in a position to be more knowledgeable. Hopefully we either have, or can find, someone from the Capital as well.
It'd be just as fun to hear what's going on in other parts of the state, too. But easier to figure out if it were organized by region or district. Otherwise if you report on a game between two schools I've never heard of, I have no idea where it's coming from.
Let's face it, there's no news to be had in the Times-Dispatch! And no other comprehensive source of reports, either. VaPreps does some but not comprehensive. Imagine game reports, maybe links to team sites, regular posting of standings.
What do you think? Anyone else interested?
