curious as to how this list is chosen?
Many good players left off the list. Not sure where they're getting the hype.

I agree, there are a lot of players left off of the list. They probably just need to know about the best players that are not on the list. I believe you can go to their website at this link and submit a profile for a player.

players names are sent in by parents and fans from across the state...it doesn't matter how good the players are
I guess then I need to submit my 06 who's backing up in two postions, if that's the case.

Virginia Preps currently received their information and nominations from the HS Coaches in the state WHO Respond to the survey's they are sending out to all the schools.. They are no longer just accepting parents nominations..but Eagle I can ask the owner to make and exception for your outfield.

JT & EagleOne if it is as easy as you say it is you both should send in your names.....
If you ask me real nicely, I can probably provide the names of a majority of the best players on the Peninsula, none of whom were listed. Heck, I'll even throw in the list of the best hockey players, too.
not trying to knock anybodys program, but things don't add up here.... 7 Mills Godwin kids on the list... guess we need to give them the state tournment trophy right now.

Read what Justmom said in her post above. If your coach did not send the questionaire back, you most likely will not make the list. Guess Mills Godwin HS coach did his homework.

I seriously doubt Godwin's coach submitted most if any of those names. Many names were not correct and some were 10th graders who had never played on the varsity. Parents sent in the information on their own kids I bet.
