One thing I just noticed. The Pilot (and ACE 45's post) shows Notre Dame playing GCA, but according to the VISAA website, #8 Portsmouth Christian is to play #1 GCA. Does anyone know what prompted this change?

I see what you are saying ACS. I'm verifying this? Maybe Notre Dame lost in a District game?

Miller 3-3 with a Grand Slam. Serafine, Richardson, Olivo and Tiller went 1-2.

Heard NSA beat Atlantic Shores 6-1.

Greenbrier Christian Academy will play Nansemond Suffolk Academy at the Petersburg Sports Complex for D-2 Semifinals on Thursday at 4:00.

StC beats Bishop Ireton 8-3
Paul Vi v Trinity
Bishop O'Connell v Flint Hill
STAB v Benedictine

Flint Hill beat O'Connell 5-2.

PVI mercied Trinity 11-1.

And Benedictine beat STAB 6-2 in 8. So StC and Benedictine Thursday at 7; Paul VI and Flint Hill Friday at 7.

Did StC play Benedictine this season? How about common opponents, such as STAB? Depth of pitching for either?

How deep is Flint Hill's pitching? PVI will have Costello for Flint Hill and Mancari for Saturday, should they beat Flint Hill. Who will Flint Hill have left for PVI and for Saturday, if they beat PVI?

VISAA Semi-Final D-2 Game.
Greenbrier 13 - Nansemond Suffolk 1.
MacDonald received the win. Kaufman 2-2, Miller 1-1, Tiller 1-2, Morton 1-2.

For D-3, Hampton Christian won their Semi-Final also. Not sure of the score.

Assuming it rains on Saturday, anyone know how well they handle it at the site? Tarps?

Looks like we might need to bring umbrella's and some dry clothes for the ride home Look on the bright side, maybe the rain will wash some of the dirt into the pot holes and make the infield level??
