For those who have been through the process of recruiting or are currently doing so, my question is, do coaches leave messages on the answering machine if nobody answers at the house or do they tend to avoid this practice?

In the age of 'caller-ID's' most of us don't answer the phone if it says "unknown name/unknown number" or "unknown name/000-000-0000."

Just curious what those of you who've been throguh the process have encountered with regards to leaving messages!!

Thanks!

Not all phone calls are equal! Eek

mofireman - I share your desire to not answer the phone. Its almost never for me anyways. Wink

But I would say that during contact periods we changed that plan. You probably should bite the bullet and answer (better yet, have your son answer Big Grin).

Some coaches will leave messages, some will not (just like you and me). No guarantee they'll call back either...so answer it! Nothing to lose, really.
