Not a recipe for success.
Tennessee's batters never solved Head or Maloney all night. Even the inning they scored it was the benefit of some fortunate bounces.
Adkins was not as sharp last night. Reliever Joey Andrews had an absolutely wicked curve. He threw very well except for the one mistake to Head. Unfortunately the error preceding Head's at bat allowed Ole Miss to go from 4-5 to 6-5.
Watson is getting the job done as closer. It's not always pretty, but he's done a good job of adapting to the role.
