What happened to the coach at Wagner College?

He resigned to go to Rutgers. Looks like he replace the HC at the end of year according to College Baseball Daily.

That's a good move for him. My dad was born in Staten Island (he moved my sisters and I down to Texas when I was 3)and even though I coach/live in Texas, I still keep up with college baseball in the Northeast.

Joe Litterio is a Rutgers grad and the move was created for this year with the departure of RC Darrin Fenster to coach within the Red Sox organization. I've heard the same thing about him replacing Coach Hill at the end of the year from other sources.

Pretty tough on the current Wagner program. They have 23 "new" players this year and prepared for this season as if Litterio would be the head coach. Talk about a bit of turmoil.

Pretty sure the "replacement" coach must come from within, at least on an temporary basis.
