I'd appreciate insight into the baseball programs at these schools. Does either school welcome (have on the roster) non-recruited walk-ons? Which school has a greater need for outfielders over the next 3 years?

1. Academic requirements at these two schools are not even similar. I suggest if you are walking on that you go for academics first. HOWEVER,...

A few years ago I coached at a local college camp with the former GWU staff. Coach Walter and Coach Montague always complained about not having baseball money. A common complaint, but when GWU tuition is well over 40 thousand dollars a year, they had reason to complain. Makes it tough to recruit.
Both schools bring in a lot of out of area players. The admission standards are high. GW plays at a city park in Arlington, VA. I was at the campus of Georgetown not too long ago but did not talk to anyone related to baseball. Thats about all I know.
