Anybody have any new or interesting walkup songs? My son gets to pick his now as a sophomore. He asked my opinion but I don't listen to any stations that play new music. Everything I'd recommend is some type of 90's hip hop or rock. Apparently, that isn't something he is considering.

The chorus from "Barbie Girl" by Aqua is probably one of the best I've heard at a game...
Walkups in high school? I'm old.
Hip hop or country?
What type of music is he into? Rap? RnB? Hip-Hop?
He listens to just about anything but country.
Cardi B - Up
I joked with Cardi B WAP. They had song privileges suspended once already for a naughty song.

they only play a small segment of the song so you can find a particular verse....and get the clean version
Drake Nice for What or Meek Mills Uptown Vibe are both good. Also Lil Wayne Uproar. Definitely find the clean versions! These are all a few years old now.
Metallica, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin all have plenty of classic riffs if he's willing to go old school.
I asked the student currently in my classroom for suggestions but didn't get much.
Tap In by Saweetie
Definitely get the clean version.
I think he's more concerned if he doesn't pick one the seniors will pick it for him, lol. In the past he's had Turn Down for What and I Can't Stop. It's probably been 4 or 5 years since he's been on a team that had them.

All the way up, Yes Indeed-Lil Baby & Drake, Drip too Hard- Lil Baby & Gunna
How did I know 2025 would come through?! Nice list. These are all on his workout playlist

Probably dating myself but can't go wrong with any part of opening riff of Metalica's Enter Sandman. You get the parents/fans/players participating and the stadium will sound amazing.

So I mentioned Enter Sandman and he blew it off. Then I said it was Rivera's song out of the pen and now it is a top candidate
If hip hop is his thing, J. Cole's Middle Child is a little mellow but very cool. Esp. if he's a middle child
My '22 has spent far too much time thinking about this. He's down to the Arctic Monkeys/Do I Wanna Know, Metallica/For Whom the Bell Tolls and Beastie Boys/Brass Monkey. Old musical soul, not that I had anything to do with that
If he wants old school - DJ Khaled "All I Do Is Win"
Too bad you're not on the East Coast, 2025! I'm thinking you and my son would enjoy going to the Made In America concert together, when such things are allowed again.
I always wanted my son to use Led Zeppelin, Immigrant Song. He never did. I still think it is an awesome option.
Being at a lot of games the last few weekends, I will say a lot of the guys use songs that were from before they were born...son included.
Talked to son one time about walk up songs and he said, he wanted "Dust in the Wind" by Kansas, until I told him what the song was about. He likes stuff from the 70s. LOL
