It was a great tournament with many top tier ball teams. The format of the Warrior Classic is very unique. Four pools of 8 teams each. Each club plays four games in pool play -- BUT, you never actually play anyone in your own pool. To win your pool, you must have the best record in your pool against competition outside of your pool. Clear? The tournament sponsors are also careful to see that you never actually play any team that you would normally play during your regular season. It makes for top competition and some great matchups. It's still unique among tournament formats.
Even though the draw has a lot to do with it -- If you make it to play on Sunday, you've certainly earned the right to be there.
