Matt Bush in Trouble Again

Bush was traded to Canada a few weeks ago due to an incident where he drunkenly beat up a high school lacrosse team. The Blue Jays gave him a 4th chance and that just wasn't enough. As a result Bush appears to be out of baseball for the time being.

At the party early Tuesday, someone had drawn markings on his face, according to a complaint made with the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office. He blamed a 23-year-old female, and she accused him of throwing a baseball past her head and banging on her car window to scare her, according to the sheriff's office. She said he appeared intoxicated and acted belligerently.

Matt Bush needs an aging catcher and/or an aging groupie to teach him about life, love and baseball during a long summer in the minor leagues.

Yes! Considering that same year Drew and Weaver were available. Matt already had a history of this type of behavior. Padres bit on Bush because he was cheap, 3m. Thank you Grady Fuson, Sandy Alderson & John Moores for that monumental brain f***.

It's sad for Matt, to much to soon. Hopefuly he invested wisely. On the plus side a roster spot has opened up.

Drew and I believe Weaver were both represented by Boras... Whom the Padres have zero interest in dealing with.

Their philosophy is to budget a number for their picks and find a guy for that price, e.g. Matt Bush. So much for all that over thinking of scouting and projectabilty.

Hopefully with the new ownership things will change... Come to think of it they already have. Alderson is out. I am reminded of an interview with Alderson where he was attempting to spin his money ball and speed is overated nonsense. Thank god he's gone.
