Hey all,
Does anyone have any info on Washington State? They called and wanted to see if anyone had any insight on the program and coaches.

They are in a tough conference, the Pac 10, the coach is fairly new but seems to be turning the team around. Took both series with the Huskies from Washington.They have made large improvements in their field. I think they have a field turf infield now.They have a new assistant coach who is a great recruiter and coach.

I have heard their head coach is not long for the program....don't know how that might impact things in a year or two.
Also, they have a HUGE recruiting class for '05 and thus will have a very young team, but I believe they are going to try to make a run at turning the program around.

The head coach from last year is gone. I believe one of the assistants has been given the job.
I heard that the head coach left, contingent on the assistant being gven the head coaching job. For pitchers, the wind can make it tough to win there.
