Yep -- it's a wooden oar tourney. 
I hear you'll be rowing between bases and first one home before the leather shrivels gets to add an oar.

Surprising! The winner so far is an obnoxious parent from our own teams! Hmmmmm, since I have never experienced this situation, I'll have to take your word that it is irritating. Our teams always have perfect parents.
