Has weather placed anyone else's high school program up against a deadline? My son's high school has three days to play three makeup games (lost another day to rain today). District pairings are decided and announced Thursday night. Any games not played by Thursday afternoon are lost. Our state uses an index formula. There are points for winning and losing. Not playing earns a zero. This could cause some teams to move down the rankings. It could really cost a team on the playoff bubble.

Weather has really hurt us. We have lost a week's worth of games twice this season. We are lucky because in KY all teams make the playoffs. Each team is put into a district (62 total) and then each team in the district play in a tournament.

We got all our district games in so it didn't hurt us at all but if we hadn't got the games in not sure what the state does.
