11 doesn't play until tomorrow @ 2:30 & 7:30 so we aren't leaving until in the morning.

Yep, our games in Houston were rained out today and there is a 50% chance of rain today and tomorrow, which does not bode well.
A few days ago, a recruiting coordinator emailed my son to say he was coming to son's games this weekend. How frustrating is that???!!!

Just as I was pulling out of my driveway, we recieved a call that our WHOLE Tournament is cancelled due to rain 
Too late to cancel reservations for tonight, but at least we didn't spend all the money on gas just to spend the night in Nacogdoches

We were in a showcase at Stephen F Austin
some of the other teams were the Hurricanes, Muckdogs, and Saints Orange.

Since, it appears collikar is still on the business end of a margarita, I will fill you in.
Mustangs-Sharp are 3-0 and the 3rd seed. Not playing crisp yet, but hitting better. Bracket play tomorrow at 4:30.

We're heading out to Klein H.S. in a minute to hopefully play our first game (should have been our third). Rain chances have been upped to 70% today in Houston. Let's hope the forecasters are wrong!

Just got back from Houston, and unfortunately there is not much to report. Rain messed with us and many other teams all weekend, but we were promised a second game today at noon. We arrived at the field at 11 a.m. and 10 minutes later, the monsoons arrived.......again! 
Most families stayed in hotels Thurs-Sun, and between the hotel cost and all the restaurant meals, we figure each family spent about $100 per inning played. Ouch!!!

16U Son played one game in Houston. On the way home now. But it is 90 here in Omaha. 13u son scheduled to play at 8:30 in the morning/ 50% chance of rain 
We got 4 innings in today before the rain started up again.
Dallas Tigers over the Patriots to win 16U Mickey Mantle Regional Qualifier. Thanks to Jesuit which seemed to be the only dry field in Texas.
Hopefully we'll have some good weather not only in the metroplex, but in Nebraska as well.
