Workouts that focus on neurological connection, CNS recovery, posterior chain, rotator cuff and dynamic core work should be done by pitchers twice per week in-season to optimize performance and decrease injury-risk.
Common focus is on proper force generation with an emphasis on tapping into power of legs/core, overall strength (with emphasis on relative, speed, starting, endurance) core work, posterior chain work and of course shoulder pre-hab.
