WEIRD PROMOTION NIGHTS

After posting about minor league ticket availability and the crowds, I got to thinking it would be fun to post our favorite or weirdest pormotion nights that we have seen or attended at a ballpark;

This is one that has to be up there. It is from the Brooklyn Cyclones this year;

Promo: “A salute to pregnancy” featuring pre-game Lamaze in centerfield, a craving station of pickles and ice cream, and many other tie-ins. And if you agree to name your child Brooklyn or Cy, the team promises free tickets for life.

The last time my son and I went to a Jacksonville Suns game we got chocolate milk and loaves of bread

They didn't even promote it..just met you as you left the stadium and gave you all you could carry..we scored

made off with a load.

I heard from our local news down here that one minor league team was paying one fans mortgage off per game and it's going on right now. Needless to say, they've sold out every game so far. I just don't remember what team it was.

That happened when i went to a Myrtle Beach Pelicans game a few years ago.
