Most folks who know high school baseball on a national level - or more accurately, international - know Bob as the founder of Area Code Games and of course the Goodwill Series. Which current MLB player autographed the baseball in the sponsor banner at the top of this forum (Going Pro)? I don't think you can read the autograph (light blue ink behind the word "AUSTRALIA"), but try to find the connection ... more hints later if no one guesses it! Wink

Julie, I copied the baseball over and enlarged it ten fold and I still have no idea. Need a hint or two.

Oops!!! Roll Eyes Can't be Steinback because he is not current......Let me do some research.

Pretty good guess on Terry Steinbach, though that wasn't correct. Very nice guy and great family. (My son took private lessons from him in HS and I taught his kids in Sunday School years ago.)

Torii Hunter is correct! The current Gold Glove centerfielder for the Twins played for one of Bob's teams in 1992, and stayed at Bob's home for a few days. But I have the autographed baseball from a charity auction some years ago when Torii was a relative unknown youngster with the Twins.
