Well ... he gets to use a BESR. Which one, have one?

Son participating in Power Showcase Home Run Derby (power-showcase.com) at Marlins Stadium late Dec. Interesting format: 10 pitches wood bat; 15 metal - BESR allowed. I think it's because they like seeing bombs. Batters hit against a Juggs pitching machine - 54 feet, 65MPH.

He still has a 33" Voodoo BESR - pretty beat up. Just wondering if anyone thinks there are better choices, and if so ... does anyone maybe have one they want to sell?

My son did it once. Any BESR should work. However, the pitching machine they used was the toughest part of hitting. It was one of those drop it in and it shoots out kind. Very hard to time. It had a delay sometimes and it shot right out others. Every kid in it could hit bombs, but timing that machine was dang near impossible.
