Every where I go it seems I keep hearing this term. They play West Coast baseball. I hate that West Coast baseball. On and on it goes. Maybe I am missing something. I thought throwing strikes, playing great defense, producing QAB's was simply good baseball? At what point did it become West Coast baseball? I watched almost every game televised from the regionals and supers. Man did I enjoy watching UCI play. So well coached. Disciplined hitters. Guys doing exactly what they needed to do to put themselves in scoring position. Great defense. Simply great baseball.

To me its just great baseball. To be honest I am just sick and tired of hearing the term West Coast Baseball. Its not West Coast Baseball. Its great baseball. I couldn't help but think when watching ULL that if they had just a little bit more of the "WCBB" in them they would be in Omaha this weekend.

Being from SoCal we know WCBB is the best JK. BTW, one of the UCI kids was on the LL team I helped coach.

especially in December, January when we in Nor Cal like to pretend that baseball is an all year round sport.   Doesn't feel that way on a cold December morning, for an 8 am tournament game.
