If you are interested in attending the University, then the camp is well worth attending.

This is one area that I believe we failed to maximize when my oldest was going through the recruitment process.

We relied entirely on Travel Teams and Showcases.

My son was being recruited by a particular D-1 after his Junior year and invited to their camp, we chose not to go for one reason or another. I believe that if he had gone he may have been offered a spot, but with our failure to attend it was probably viewed as disinterest on our part.

I also did not fully understand how coaches like to recruit out of their camps. We had no clear target school and therefore were not focused on which camps he should attend so therefore he did not attend any.

I believe there have been a number of threads over the years on the WVU program. A quick search should provide some valuable insight.
