Can you give me any information on the baseball program, area (Can be expensive), college environment. I know they are NAIA, building new facilities. Nothing on seach buttton but I noticed some SGV Arsenals going there. SGV , can you comment on type of scholarship they offered your player ( Is it both Academic and Athletic like most NAIA school ?)

Thanks in advance!

It is a small Christian school in the foothills of Montecito, just south of Santa Barbara, absolutely one of the most beautiful places in the world. I believe they have around 1,200 kids. They give a combination of athletic and academic money. I believe the coaches have been there around 3 years and are trying to build up the program. Great coaches, and facilities. Field is 2-3 years old, fantastic field, but does not have big stands, and I am not sure about lights. (I don’t think they do)

Very good liberal arts and sciences school, around 90% of the pre-med kids get into med school. Does not have engineering. It is a small Christian environment, great for some and not so much for others. My son’s scout team has played them several times and I have met the coaches and really like them. I would be happy if my son played for them.
To add to BOF's,
We did a drive through during a weekend when school was out. Still, it seemed apparent that this would be a relatively quiet, and very small, college environment. Definitely not the big school rah, rah type. A unique setting - you drive back through VERY high end residential area and the school is nestled at the end of a street up on the hillside. Field is beautiful. Very short LF fence. Probably one of the most expensive neighborhoods in the world. Beautiful area, perfect weather.
