OK Fungo here you go:

Son played his first HS scrimmage game of the season yesterday and what a day it was! Mid 70's, no humidity, no wind, sun out, grass was super green from oversead and rain last week, just cut on Friday so you could smell it WOW what a perfect day!

The pop of the gloves with kids warming up was magic. They played 16-18 innings from 10AM-3:30PM starting with Varsity going to JV.

Seriously it does not get better than this.....who cares about football we're playing baseball out here in California!

But, can't wait for school to start Monday. Ahhhh!

Wow- so sad about the heat!- I felt real bad for you this morning as I scraped the ice of the two cars in the driveway! Big Grin

We still have to get through 2 more months so enjoy it for us out there on the left coast!

- please, no pictures of your sunny practices... unless you wanna make a grown man cry. Wink

Lefty, can I get you a Kleenex?

Our forecast for the week....and Monday is the best day....and my guess is MN-Mom is calling our forecast balmy.

OK how bout' a walk on the beach after the game:

or

Note this was at sunset and it was getting a little chilly and we had to put on a shell. Think it was down to 65 or so.....
This evening, I had 2 HS kids over to hit in my cage. What an awesome sight! Just hearing the crack of their bats hitting the ball and their passion for the game was amazing! I was/am very jealous! I had to hit a round myself! I Coach my son, 11-12 years old, and these 2 young men were a JR/SR! I love Baseball!

Weather in N Texas is AWESOME!
