What coach to conatct?

I know that at DI schools it an assistant coach that is the recruiting cord.. Is this true for a DIII? Who is the conatact at a DIII?

Since the Head Coach usually has final say on a recruit I prefer to contact the head coach initially---if he wants to continue correspondence with the recruit thru the recruiting coordinator

I think it best to start with the top gun and let him direct you from there

Why not just contact both. You can in your intial corespondence indicate that you are contacting both head and assistant coaches and ask them to advise you as to whom you need to dialogue with.
