Bingo! The only one I knew for sure was Dylan. Then I started looking up stuff on Maris because my dad had played against him in Legion in North Dakota and found out Maris was born in Hibbing, so I checked out Hibbing and there was McHale and Bugliosi (who prosecuted the Manson clan).
Plus Hibbing is home to one of the largest open pit iron mines in the world, which seems strange to me. I've spent some time paddling the Boundary Waters in the Ely and Sawbill areas and the fact that the mine is only an hour away from Ely is surprising.
Roger Maris turned down a football scholarship to play for Bud Wilkinson at Oklahoma in order to play baseball.
