When I discovered this site a few months ago I never thought I would learned so much from it. I learned alot about what my son and I will face next year as he enters college. I learned rules I didn't know. I learned there are so many people out there that have lived through the same things my family has. I leanred that you can come to know people without ever seeing their face or hearing their voice. And yesterday after reading piaa_ump's post I learned that the man in blue standing behind the catcher can be so much more than you see. Thank you piaa_ump for sharing your story with all of us. When we got home from a game last night I pulled it up and read it to my husband and sons. After I finished reading it there was silents for a few seconds and then my 15 year old who is usually MR. Tough Guy said " wow mom thats just to sad". Guess that says it all. Thanks again piaa_ump.

I responded similarly to this in the other thread, but burdens shared are burdens lifted. What is an annual therapy for me, has become a pathway for us to connect to what brings us together in this common effort. We are here for our boys and baseball.

I too, have learned a lot from this site and the people who come and post.
