In your mind what is the difference in a High Travel Team that does tournaments and a HS Travel team that is a Showcase team team or do you see them as one and the same?

From my point of view, they are about the same thing. Here in the KC area there are only a couple of offerings: Legion Baseball where the individual plays a LOT of games, or Travel/Showcase baseball where the individual plays (more and more) at college venues around the midwest. I am not sure which is the better deal for being recruited, but we sure see more and more players/families opting for the Travel/Showcase venues.
Oh yeah, I forgon to mention the "Hired Gun" players that do not really play for one team.....they move from team to team, weekend to weekend for whoever needs their services, usually pitchers......and then travels to regional and national showcases.

If it is a HS Travel team, more likely to play legion, i am not sure they qualify for showcase(no disrespect to the Legion teams)my son played legion never any scouts. A player has more options with high travel ( can find a team that meets families critera). Cost wise though you going to spend more $$$ with the high travel Team.
