i see these Texas players wearing these white TPX "sleeves" either on their on biceps or forearm....just wondering what it is?

If they are the tight fitting elasticized sleeves, which can be worn on the forearm (straight sleeve) or the elbow (angled sleeve), it is possible they are wearing them for warmth. As I understand it from my son, they help keep the muscles and joints warm by the heat generated by the body. He always wore one on his pitching elbow anytime he threw where the weather was cold.
