We often talk about what the kids do when the game ends for them---tonite on COLD CASE , and on the 17th of April in PRISON BREAK you can see a young man that I know going back to his LL days and he played HS ball with my son---His name is DOMINIC PACE and it is finally beginning to happen for him theatrically---even in HS, acting was what he wanted and he was not a bad baseball player on top of it all-- I used to sit with his Grandfather at the games---his baseball days ended when he graduated HS
He will be back on the East Coast in September and we plan on getting together and talk about old times---to me this is what it is all about---kids making decisions and seeing those decisions come to fruition

Tune in tonite on CBS at 9 PM EST and catch him doing his thing

There's probably lots of players who choose not to play beyond HS that were good enough to play collegiate ball. My son was one of those players. It was to his advantage that he was good enough academically and athletically to make a choice of what he wanted to do. He simply felt the odds were in his favor on the side of adademics. He plans to teach and coach baseball when he goes to work. Not bad when you have options.
