I'm having a tough time finding what's a good velocity throwing a softball on a crowhop. I was able to throw a softball 74 miles per hour over hand and not sure if that's any good.

How old are you? What is your height and weight? Are you male or female?
I coached high school softball for a while. 74mph is very good at the high school level.
The average D1 velocity is 60-63. P4’s average up to 68. The hardest throwing college pitcher is Karlyn Pickens of Tennessee. She cruises 70+. She’s maxed mid 70s. Monica Abbott, former Tennessee and Olympian threw the fastest pitch in a college game at 77.
My apologies! I thought she was asking about overhand.
My daughter did not crowhop. It was illegal when she pitched. She was gunned by a college recruiting her at 63 for her dropball the summer before her junior year. Typically, softball pitchers don't gain much speed after that sophomore year. Pretty much all of her pitches with the exception of the change were above 60. She did exceedingly well in the circle. She did not pitch in college.
Crow hop sounds like a pulldown. I don't think pitching velo is the question. Is a 74 mph pulldown good?
