to survive Freshman baseball?

I just can't take it any longer.  My kid's team just stinks.  Rarely do we get beyond the 5 inning run rule.  We could be beat by a 12U rec team.  I love watching my kid play, but this is brutal.  Seeds and water just aint cutting it.  So I decided Vodka may help -- something to take the edge off.  Any suggestions?

LOL, Is the Freshman ball worse than 9u, the first year it was kid pitch?  I.swear the team set a record for walks that year, and I think I nodded off once or twice.

Try to picture a varsity team, where only 3 kids play on a summer team of any kind. Seniors get to play because they are seniors, even though they catch and throw like young girls. This team runs runs runs because the coaches don't know how to keep them busy doing baseball drills. The poor kids learn nothing for 4 hours everyday....that is frustrating my friend.

But they are so cute.

Grey Goose with a splash of Arnold Palmer is a great summer season drink. sorry i mean Arnold Palmer with a splash of Grey goose...I always get that confused!

Seriously be very careful about drinking, as PG noted you can look real bad real fast IMO. Parent should never do or say something that could or would hurt the image of your child to a potential recruiter, that is just stupid.

Show up, cheer for the team as normal human and play the part of supporting parent!

Well the other day I saw something I never thought I would see.  The team was actually winning by 2 going into the 6th inning.  Ended up loosing by 10 run mercy rule.  Yep, 12 runs in a half inning.  I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes.

So I see 1 vote for Tito's and 1 vote for Grey Goose.  Wonder what happens if you mix the two?
