I was just at the northeast underclass and I thought it was cool to see the talent that we have up here. How ever I am a pitcher only and when I was warming up in the bullpen I had never thrown so hard(Usually top out at 84). Durring one of my pitches in bullpen I hurt my shoulder and thought I could pitch through it. When I got out there I could lift my arm to my normal arm slot because it hurt to much, I ended up having no control and wasn't throwing very hard. Since I bombed at this showcase will this kill my potentials of playing college baseball at the level I know I can play at?

Listen showcases are just that. If you perform well in the fall and in your HS season I'm sure you'll be fine. Just an example-If a kid goes to Wilmington, Aflac, The numerous perfect game events and does very, very well. HIS DRAFT STATUS WILL BE DICTATED BY WHAT HE DOES IN THE SPRING. NO DOUBT ABOUT IT. Showcases are good but in the end for PRO BASEBALL it's what you do in the spring when the teams see you. You'll be fine with colleges if you REBOUND this fall and SPRING.
