I've been reading this site for awhile, since I have been at the recruiting age. I've learned a lot, but have 1 serious question. I am a 2010, Lhp and 1B. I throw 83-85,hit 87. I have a very good, not great bat, but real good eye-hand coordination and bat speed. Need work on hitting mechanics, but mainly I am a VERY good pitcher. I play with one of the best travel teams in SE. I gave up 2 er in 1 game I drove 250 mi 1 way to pitch in and was sick, and beside that, I have not given up a single run, even unearned all summer against top competition. Many Colleges have me on their radar, but no offer's at this late date. 19ACT,890SAT. Can you help me find ouit what to do to get to the next level. If I don't get to 90, do I need to think more JC or D2. SDorry about the long letter, I just don't know what else to do.HS-7-1.,2.06. Any suggestions??

Thank You. I actually went to a 1 day camp at a major D1 school yesterday and the pitching coach told us our legs were only good for stamina. He said it all matters about our size and what GOD gave us as far as how fast we'll throw. That was why I posted this. I'm not going to get bigger I don't think, so what now? It was very discouraging because I have been working all summer on my legs, even though It really hasn't helped
Don't give up young man! You're not through growing I promise.

I do second the suggestion to retake your ACT or SAT again and again. It will definitely help. I would also be sure to register with the NCAA Clearinghouse if you havent already.

Let me recommend that you begin targeting JUCO's. You have the same scores as my son did and he is now attending a JUCO to get his grades up, and will allow him to eventually transfer to a D1 or D2 school if things work out. It's a great time to concentrate on your academics plus grow in baseball.

Good luck.
