What to do? After an offer.

Isn't today the last day of the signing period? If he signs today with that school, he can't sign with another NCAA school - that's the purpose of the NLOI. He could still sign with a JUCO or NAIA, but that's a whole other issue of ethics, etc. If he doesn't sign with them (assuming the last day of early signing is today) today, he can't until April.

Thank You Iafmom, the coach did say if he decides after the NLOI period they would sign him to the scholarship papers and in April sign the NLOI.

You have an offer in hand do lets look at a few things that may help you:

01-- does your son want to be at this school?
02-- are there offers on the table?
03-- In view of the fact that that the next showcase won't have D-1 programs in attendance what is the purpose of attending if you have an offer in hand and like it?
04-- Is your son confident enough to wait until the spring and see what else comes his way?

03 Well he is still working out problem with his throw to second and we think it might be a deal breaker ( well his summer coach thinks that)
04 That is the problem he is not, but we think it is some apprehension on making the move.
